RDX Movements is committed to protecting people, cargo, communities, and the environment through disciplined health, safety, environmental, and quality controls.

Our Approach

Safety, environment, quality and operational control

RDX Movements operates with a practical HSEQ management approach designed for freight movement, loading and offloading activities, cross-border operations, warehouse handling, and route-based risk control. We are committed to protecting employees, clients, the public, and the environment from risks associated with transport and logistics operations.

Our HSEQ controls cover vehicle readiness, cargo handling, route planning, incident prevention, emergency response, and the condition of all equipment and operating spaces. We support this with preventive maintenance, driver coaching, operational supervision, and continuous monitoring.

To help reduce incidents and move toward zero harm, our fleet uses GPS telematics for route visibility, behaviour monitoring, and operational response. Drivers and operations teams receive regular training in defensive driving, first aid, fire response, emergency preparedness, and safe handling procedures for regulated cargo where required.

Safe Operations

Risk controls are built into loading, driving, unloading, warehouse handling, and route planning.

Fleet Visibility

Telematics and operational supervision improve route awareness, driver support, and incident response.

Training

Drivers receive ongoing coaching in first aid, fire response, emergency preparedness, and safe operating practice.

Environmental Care

We focus on spill prevention, maintenance discipline, and responsible response to incidents that may affect the environment.

Operational Controls

How RDX manages HSEQ risk

Telematics & Route Monitoring

Vehicles are monitored using GPS-based tools that support route visibility, safer behaviour, and quicker operational intervention when conditions change.

Spill Preparedness

Trucks carrying regulated or hazardous cargo are equipped with spill response materials for minor incidents, while larger incidents are escalated through emergency response procedures and specialist support partners.

Fire Protection

Fire extinguishers are carried and inspected so that drivers can contain small fires while wider escalation procedures are activated where necessary.

Cross-Border Readiness

For international trips and regulated loads, drivers carry route-specific emergency instructions, contact details, and document packs needed for cross-border response.

Daily Vehicle Checks

Daily pre-trip inspections help identify mechanical issues early, improve roadworthiness, and reduce the likelihood of incidents and environmental harm.

Equipment & Site Condition

Operational areas, loading spaces, and transport equipment are kept in good condition through inspections, maintenance, and housekeeping controls.

Preparedness

Emergency response and environmental care

Air Pollution Control

Preventive maintenance, disciplined servicing, and roadworthy fleet management help reduce unnecessary exhaust emissions and fuel inefficiencies.

Incident Escalation

Escalation procedures cover client communication, operational response, emergency support, and internal reporting after safety or environmental events.

Cargo-Specific Precautions

For regulated, hazardous, or fuel-related cargo, the transport plan is strengthened with route instructions, cargo controls, and response information.

Emergency Preparedness

Drivers and controllers are trained to respond calmly, protect people first, secure the scene, and activate internal and external emergency contacts quickly.
